Job Summary:

Draper Labs is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support our internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for supported departments.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to support the organization's goals.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and senior leadership to develop and prioritize capital budget requests.
  • Track actual spending and update forecasts as needed.
  • Develop and maintain recurring financial reporting for senior leadership.
  • Perform data integrity and validation during month-end close.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • High level of accuracy, productivity, and flexibility.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. 3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis required.
