Financial Planning Specialist

Draper Labs is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support our internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for supported departments.
- Provide actionable recommendations to support the organization's goals.
- Collaborate with internal partners and senior leadership to develop and prioritize capital budget requests.
- Track actual spending and update forecasts as needed.
- Develop and maintain recurring financial reporting for senior leadership.
- Perform data integrity and validation during month-end close.
- Support ad hoc analyses and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- High level of accuracy, productivity, and flexibility.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. 3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis required.
