Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager/Estimator with Insurance Adjuster experience to join our team at Servpro Industries. As a key member of our restoration and construction services team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving projects efficiently, while estimating projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess damage related to construction claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to support claim evaluations.
  • Damage Assessment: Utilize your construction expertise to determine the extent of damage and evaluate repair or replacement costs, preparing detailed reports and estimates.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of claims, including photographs, reports, and correspondence, ensuring all documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and explanations regarding the status of their claims, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead, reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Bid Preparation: Develop and submit competitive bids for construction projects, analyzing bid specifications and requirements to determine the appropriate approach.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope, costs, and expectations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a construction estimator, adjuster, or in a similar role with a strong background in construction and building processes.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, familiarity with insurance policies and claims procedures preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues.
  • Technology: Proficiency in estimating software.
