About the Role

As a Cloud Cost Management Sales Executive at CloudZero, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the cloud cost management space. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that is revolutionizing the way organizations manage their cloud costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closing sales opportunities by demonstrating and documenting value during a proof of concept (POC), in collaboration with our sales engineers.
  • Leading effective sales calls for prospects via Zoom and onsite, using established sales methodologies.
  • Managing a named account or geographic territory and accurately forecasting pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Self-sourcing potential new sales opportunities in collaboration with our marketing and alliance partners.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, client pain points, and related client success stories to provide valuable insights to our customers.
  • Researching clients' relevant business initiatives, key players, and technologies utilized or considered.
  • Collaborating with AWS sales reps and partner teams to accelerate deals and gain pipeline leverage.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant closing experience in the cloud or DevOps space, specifically within a SaaS software startup environment.
  • A track record of consistently achieving quota and outperforming peers.
  • An understanding of AWS and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools such as G-Suite/Office, SalesForce, Zoom, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Articulate, thoughtful, and inspiring communication skills with clients via various channels.
  • Strong active listening and presentation skills with the ability to captivate and engage diverse audiences and personas.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a transformative and fast-paced SaaS software startup environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
