Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

As an Outside Sales Representative at Race Telecommunications LLC, you will proactively engage potential customers through direct interactions in their homes and communities. You will serve as the face of our company, creating meaningful connections with individuals and effectively conveying the exceptional value of our products and services to secure their business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sources new sales opportunities through door-to-door education of our fiber optic internet, phone, and television services.
  • Identifies, assesses, and understands customer needs and requirements to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Builds relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication (listening).
  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals set by you and your manager.
  • Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
  • Generates new business and promotes growth of our products.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
  • A valid California driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in sales, outside sales, or a related field, with equivalent work experience in customer-facing roles required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce and Sales Rabbit) to manage customer data, track interactions, and analyze customer behavior.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to listen, address questions and customer complaints, and provide timely solutions.
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and iPad for taking orders.
  • Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Commitment to accuracy and high standards for quality of work.
  • Ability to work with all levels of team members and management.
  • Excellent problem resolution and customer service skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with a sense of professionalism.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
