Role Overview
As an essential member of the Finance team, you will play a key role in planning and executing our ambitious manufacturing ramp-up from research and development to large-scale production.

This position will involve close collaboration with the Manufacturing Operations and Advanced Manufacturing teams to create detailed plans for each production line.

You will be responsible for developing precise capital expenditure, labor, and overhead budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, suggesting design modifications, and driving automation improvements. Your influence will be crucial in accelerating our capacity to deploy multi-day energy storage solutions.

This role demands strong analytical and Excel skills, a high level of independence, and the resilience to tackle challenges typical of start-up environments. While deep technical knowledge in manufacturing operations is not mandatory, a strong eagerness to learn is essential.

Your success will be measured by our ability to deliver the necessary multi-day storage capacity to meet emission reduction targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise equipment capital expenditure budgets that align with manufacturing processes and hardware design.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and Advanced Manufacturing teams to outline detailed labor and overhead cost-reduction strategies.
- Lead efforts in manufacturing headcount planning and partner with HR to implement hiring initiatives.
- Conduct thorough analyses and provide insights on manufacturing capital expenditure and labor & overhead costs to inform our manufacturing strategy.
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators to assess the financial and operational performance of each manufacturing line and process.

Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in finance or consulting; experience in industrial manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
- Highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to distill large data sets into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships with business partners.
- Comfort with ambiguity and creativity in overcoming challenges.
