We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of transloading and trucking activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to manage schedules and address any arising issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of drivers, operators, and support personnel.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to uphold high performance and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
  • Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and bulldozers.
  • Maintain all equipment in optimal working condition and perform routine inspections.
  • Carry out basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, reporting, and data management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all operations, including inventory, deliveries, and equipment maintenance.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and trucking operations management.
  • Demonstrated experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
