Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Coordinator to join our team at Guayakí Yerba Mate. As a Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in elevating our Ambacebador community, fostering a safe, vibrant, and buzzing space for our loyal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Growth

  • Utilize Salesforce to review and progress member applications for the Guayakí Community
  • Conduct weekly office hours for new members
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of recorded welcome calls

Community Health & Organization

  • Assess community members and take necessary steps to ensure the quality and overall health of the community space
  • Enforce community guidelines and inspire Guayakí's values in everything community members do
  • Stay knowledgeable about community metrics and their impact on user engagement
  • Support community administration activities, including process documentation and maintenance

Community Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for consumer inquiries about the Guayakí Community
  • Support the development of a creative community calendar of events, including contests, spotlights, and marketing tie-ins
  • Manage the Top Contributors and potential Top Contributors
  • Organize and run online meetup events, such as Themed Gourd Circles, games nights, and other initiatives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated passion for Guayakí's regeneration-driven business model, the brand, and the product
  • Thorough understanding of and engagement in meaningful discussions about the company's values and products
  • Personable and accountable to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate various tasks and be flexible to evolving needs
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, curious, and proactive
  • Approaches new and different ideas with curiosity and open-mindedness
  • Experience as a participant within the Guayakí Community
  • Reliable commitment to contracted hours and tasks allocated, transparency with line manager, and professionalism in all interactions with the business

This is a part-time position not eligible for benefits. Hourly pay: $20-$20 USD.
