Responsible for creating a welcoming environment at Arkansas Children's; Executes essential tasks related to scheduling and registration for outpatient services, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance details.

Additional Information:
*Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Recommended Education:
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, nursing diploma, or Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution, Certificate from a college program or technical school

Required Work Experience:
Recommended Work Experience: Administrative Support - Direct Epic experience, Related Field - 1 year of experience

Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule all patient appointments and ensure referrals are properly obtained.
2. Meet or exceed expected productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
3. Welcome and engage patients, families, and visitors to provide a positive initial experience.
4. Conduct registration and discharge processes, including co-payment collection, MyChart activation, and insurance verification.
5. Manage discharge scheduling and ensure follow-up appointments and tests are arranged.
6. Capable of registering in multiple Centers (in addition to Home Center) as demonstrated by floating.
7. Collaborate with clinical partners to enhance patient communication, clinic workflow, and ongoing care.
8. Actively participate in initiatives to improve the patient experience, including promoting the patient satisfaction survey.
