As the initial point of contact for Arkansas Children's, this role is essential in managing scheduling and registration for outpatient services, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is collected accurately.

Additional Information:

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Recommended Education:

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, nursing diploma, or a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently schedules patient appointments and ensures all necessary referrals are secured.

2. Achieves or surpasses expected productivity and accuracy benchmarks.

3. Welcomes and interacts with patients, families, and visitors to create a positive initial experience.

4. Conducts registration and discharge processes, including co-payment collection, MyChart activation, and insurance verification.

5. Manages discharge scheduling and ensures follow-up appointments and tests are arranged.

6. Demonstrates the ability to register patients in multiple centers as needed.

7. Collaborates with clinical teams to enhance patient communication, clinic operations, and ongoing care.

8. Actively participates in initiatives to improve the patient experience, including promoting patient satisfaction surveys.
