Position Overview:
The Culinary Production Associate is tasked with measuring, labeling, and packaging food products and concentrates created within the facility. This role is crucial for maintaining quality assurance by diligently adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the Culinary Production Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the workspace while complying with all company policies and industry standards.
  • Execute production tasks in accordance with established company SOPs
  • Accurately measure ingredients and products to meet production goals
  • Weigh and store completed products, ensuring all relevant data is logged
  • Label, package, and document products for precise inventory management
  • Operate and manage designated equipment for production
  • Utilize and maintain equipment properly to ensure optimal performance
  • Process final products to meet established quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment consistently
  • Transport packaged goods to the appropriate storage locations
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes and equipment post-use
  • Ensure kitchen sanitation and hygiene are upheld
  • Stay informed about and comply with all relevant state and local regulations
  • Contribute to a workplace culture that aligns with Holistic Industries' mission to be a leading employer in the cannabis sector
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Physical Demands: This role is physically demanding. Candidates must be capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing weights up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance), as well as standing or walking for extended periods, and may involve bending or crouching. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels is expected.
Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check, as per state regulations.
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred, particularly in licensed facilities.
  • Background in food manufacturing processes is highly valued.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations is required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for workplace safety and handling hazardous materials is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in using standard office equipment is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills are critical.
  • ServSafe Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and composure under pressure.
  • A strong work ethic and sound judgment are essential attributes.
