Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire construction process, including planning, organization, staffing, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of installation technicians and programmers, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to the project management team and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, conducting regular site inspections to identify and address any issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, working closely with the project management team to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Financial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all construction work is carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, working closely with the project management team to implement changes that enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification preferred; California Blue Card required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods, with occasional walking, standing, and lifting required.
