Veeva Systems is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Investment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our investment portfolio and ensuring that our corporate cash is invested in a way that optimizes returns and preserves principle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a portfolio of fixed income securities, including treasuries and other investment-grade instruments.
  • Oversee compliance with Veeva's investment policy, portfolio risk, and liquidity profile, ensuring that our investments align with our corporate objectives.
  • Assess, monitor, and benchmark the performance of external investment managers, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for optimization.
  • Create a detailed interest income forecast, taking into account market trends and economic conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a risk dashboard for our cash and investments, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Recommend investment strategies that align with our company's risk tolerance and financial goals, taking into account market volatility and other external factors.
  • Provide support for other treasury functions, including cash management, foreign exchange, and banking operations.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as capital market analysis, treasury system implementation, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in trading fixed income securities, with a strong understanding of investment and risk management principles.
  • At least 6 years of experience in corporate treasury, capital markets, or a related field, with a Master's degree in Finance or a CFA designation.
  • Alternatively, 8 years of experience in a related field with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to create financial models and assess risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of Veeva Systems.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree or CFA designation.
  • Experience with Bloomberg or similar financial software.

Compensation

  • Base pay: $120,000 - $200,000.
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
