Job Summary

Didlake, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Support and Development Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Intakes and Assessments: Meet with new employees to determine their specific support needs and develop individualized Employee Support Plans (ESPs).
  • Develop and Implement ESFs: Create clear and concise ESFs that outline the support needs of assigned employees and provide resources for Didlake managers and employees.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Offer routine follow-up contacts with Workforce Support and Development participants and site management to ensure ESFs are providing adequate guidance and identify additional resources needed to improve employee performance.
  • Document and Track Progress: Use the Lauris Electronic database to document all contacts and support provided to Workforce Support and Development participants.
  • Collaborate with HR and Site Management: Work closely with HR and site management to respond to acute situations or issues reported to Workforce Support and Development.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel to Didlake worksites and offsite meeting locations throughout Northern VA, Maryland, DC, and PA to provide support and services.
Requirements
  • Heavy Travel Required: Must be able to travel frequently to Didlake worksites and offsite meeting locations.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and HR representatives.
  • Disability Knowledge and Experience: Have a strong understanding of disability employment laws and regulations, as well as experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Be able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
