Role Summary:
Our organization is actively seeking multiple Junior IT Support Specialists to join our global client's Desktop & Depot Support division. While prior experience in IT is a plus, it is not a prerequisite. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills for the role. This position requires an onsite presence at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver software troubleshooting and repair services for workstations.
- Assist with PC installations, relocations, additions, and modifications.
- Conduct image loading processes.
- Manage asset recovery and tagging.
- Provide support for printers and other peripherals.
- Assist clients at the Tech Bar.
- Update IT service management records.
- Perform additional client support tasks to ensure optimal workstation functionality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience in Desktop Support is necessary; training will be provided for all new hires.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with PC imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Experience in change and incident management processes.
- Proficiency in utilizing tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wipe.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work onsite and be within commuting distance of designated locations.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Willingness to travel to satellite locations as needed.
