As the Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for reconciling inventory transactions related to music and merchandise. Your role will involve receiving goods into designated warehouses, coordinating projects with our distribution partners, and ensuring packing lists align with purchase orders. You will work closely with the Inventory Purchasing and Accounting teams to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

Key Duties:


Oversee the physical receipt of goods by monitoring all carrier shipments to various warehouses, utilizing tracking software.

Receive inventory for music products across multiple warehouses, including records, CDs, and merchandise.

Reconcile transactions in the inventory management system with third-party platforms.

Facilitate the integration of new products into distribution systems.

Track shipments and confirm the receipt of goods in warehouses.

Submit billable items to the Accounting team for customer invoicing.

Calculate freight charges accurately.

Manage manufacturing on demand (MOD) activities.

Collaborate with Accounting and Production to ensure timely reconciliation of inventory transactions.

Receive goods into the appropriate warehouses based on packing lists.

Address and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Maintain the new release system for Universal Music.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in receiving or managing inventory transactions.

Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Proficient mathematical skills are required.

Familiarity with inventory management software is preferred, particularly in creating and receiving items and purchase orders.

Proficient in Excel formulas and functions.

*This position requires a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days on-site.
