Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual with a collaborative mindset to take on the role of Merchandise Operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SKU setup and maintenance for a designated product category, including samples and production SKUs.
  • Generate vendor purchase orders and oversee all related communications with vendors.
  • Coordinate with vendors on purchase order modifications, ensuring timely updates with Planning teams to meet shipping deadlines and inventory requirements.
  • Prioritize and execute SKU and purchase order creation as directed by cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained to support accurate sales tracking and reporting.
  • Standardize processes and data elements for efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues, escalating as necessary to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Assist in onboarding new associates and provide cross-training support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in merchandising or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google applications is advantageous.
  • Results-driven with a focus on timely processing of SKU requests and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Proactive in identifying data issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex business requirements clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Effectively communicate with all associates and business contacts in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a strong sense of teamwork and demonstrate flexibility to assist others in meeting deadlines.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Proven ability to deliver exceptional service and support to internal teams, planning teams, agents, and vendors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Business Objects, Excel, Access, and Google applications, with the ability to learn company-specific systems and merchandising processes.
  • Capable of compiling and summarizing large datasets in a clear and concise manner.
