Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to Nelson-Jameson customers through various communication channels. This individual will be responsible for processing orders, quotes, and returns in a timely and accurate manner, while also providing product knowledge and research support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process orders, quotes, and returns by entering information into the computer system.
  • Provide product knowledge and research support to customers to resolve their issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Computer knowledge skills and ability.
  • General office experience and/or call center customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment:

The Customer Service Representative will work in an office environment with a quiet noise level. The workweek is 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with varying hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Overtime may be required as needed.
