Job Overview

Position: Micro-Community (MC) Floater Coordinator (Nights)

Reports to: MC Manager

Location: Denver

Compensation: $23.22 - $24.51 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including 401k matching, fully covered health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off, and holiday compensation.

The MC Floater Coordinator will collaborate closely with the MC Manager and MC Assistants to ensure the Micro-Community environment is safe, stable, and supportive for residents, staff, volunteers, and the wider community. This role will assist the MC Manager in overseeing Micro-Community operations and programming.

Work Schedule
  • 40 hours per week on-site at the Micro-Community, with 10-hour shifts.
  • Additional hours will be allocated for organizational meetings, engagement with external partners, and interactions with MC residents.
Key Responsibilities1. Micro-Community Operations
  • Resident Intake: Conduct wellness screenings, provide an overview of policies, and complete intake forms for data entry.
  • Resident Engagement: Maintain daily wellness screenings and monitor activities using logs.
  • Accountability and Compliance: Serve as the primary contact in the absence of the MC Manager, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication with residents, ensuring they are informed about resources and schedules.
2. Micro-Community Programming
  • Resident Support: Build relationships with residents and assist them in achieving housing and employment goals.
  • Community Dinners: Help coordinate meals by managing volunteers and preparing the dining space.
3. Conflict Management and Crisis Response
  • Conflict Resolution: Promote non-violent conflict resolution among residents and document outcomes.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in responding to incidents of violence or threats, working alongside the MC Manager.
4. Metrics and Reporting
  • Conduct ongoing data collection and support the MC Manager with reporting tasks.
Additional Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned as needed. The role requires flexibility, as team members may need to assist in various capacities to support the Micro-Community and its residents.
