The primary objective is to enhance patient outcomes by integrating performance improvement expectations and measurement tools into contract management.
Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. They should be adept at collaborating with various organizational levels while ensuring confidentiality of Quality Management data. Exceptional presentation and report writing skills are essential, along with the capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator will keep the Director of Hospital Purchasing and unit managers updated on the progress of performance expectation reviews and will actively engage in the assessment of contract metrics. This position also involves maintaining internal contract tracking systems and executing additional duties and special projects as assigned. Responsibilities include preparing presentations and drafting reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct audits of contracts with varying levels of complexity, either independently or with minimal assistance.
• Educate hospital staff on the QAPI Program related to vendor performance and validate their self-assessments.
• Provide guidance and technical support to colleagues.
• Pursue ongoing training to enhance expertise in healthcare auditing and professional standards.
• Participate in team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as required.
• Identify and review all service arrangements impacting patient care and treatment.
• Maintain a comprehensive list of Clinical and Non-Clinical Service contracts.
• Collaborate with Department Heads, Quality Teams, Buyers, and other departments to establish specific performance expectations per agreement.
• Distribute evaluation tools to relevant Department Heads and Stakeholders on a scheduled basis.
• Track vendor evaluations according to an established timeline.
• Review evaluations for performance feedback and address identified areas needing improvement.
• Document negative feedback and communicate expectations for improvement to vendors.
• Prepare reports for the Performance Assessment and Patient Safety Quality Committee of the Governing Body.
• Present findings to the Patient Safety Quality Committee.
• Report any new Clinical service agreements to the Patient Safety Quality Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Chair the Contract Service - QAPI Team meetings.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in healthcare, including at least two years in procurement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A Master's degree.
• Five or more years of healthcare experience, including at least three years in procurement.
• CPHQ Certification.
