Position Overview

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Summit Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Graduation and certification from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, demonstrating the ability to work independently and provide care without direct physician oversight.
  • Comfort in treating adult patients and conducting thorough health assessments for individuals and families with acute, chronic, or potential health issues.
  • Possession of a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) or eligibility for registration.
  • Current enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid or eligibility to enroll.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with Athena is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
