Position Overview

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Summit Health, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must possess a degree and certification from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, demonstrating the ability to work independently and provide care without direct physician oversight.
  • Comfortable in treating adult patients, performing thorough health assessments, and managing acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Hold a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice or be eligible for licensure.
  • Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) or eligibility for registration.
  • Must have active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with Athena is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
