Position Overview: We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager / Custodial Supervisor to oversee our contract operations supporting various government facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team in delivering facilities maintenance services, including both scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
  • Supervise custodial services and manage the custodial workforce effectively.
  • Engage with clients and manage financial planning and operations to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate and direct all contract functions, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction, acting as the on-site authority in the absence of the Project Manager.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee custodial-related services, ensuring adherence to contract deliverables and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with service requirements and operational policies.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and manage contract performance metrics.
  • Lead a team of custodial and technical staff, ensuring a well-trained and disciplined workforce.
  • Manage operational expenses while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in facilities management.
  • Three years of experience in managing custodial services for commercial or industrial settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of custodial practices, regulatory compliance, and green cleaning standards.
  • Ability to lead and organize a diverse team effectively.

Physical Requirements: The role requires regular sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of light weights. Vision capabilities include close vision and depth perception.
