Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team of experts in the field of cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage committed costs and major purchase order items for various projects
  • Assist project managers with the setup of projects and respond to daily requests for information
  • Monitor subcontract documentation and collaborate regularly with the A/R Accountant
  • Review cost reports weekly for all active jobs to ensure accurate and timely charging of costs
  • Reconcile monthly subcontractor and prime equipment vendor statements as needed

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting, project accounting, and/or construction accounting
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to consistently meet reporting deadlines
  • Professional experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and external clients to achieve organizational goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to various audiences

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base compensation between $50,000 and $60,000 annually, depending on experience
