Position Overview

As a key member of the hospitality team, the Front Desk Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to guests consistently.
  • Welcome and register guests, ensuring their requests are accommodated whenever feasible.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of reservation systems and procedures, including handling cancellations.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-ins and checkouts with a professional attitude.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions balance at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate special requests and late checkouts to the housekeeping team.
  • Handle incoming mail, phone calls, and messages for guests.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions.
  • Process room charges and payments, adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Keep the front desk area organized and hazard-free.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, staff roles, and operational hours.
  • Stay informed about loyalty programs and current promotions.
  • Exhibit proper telephone etiquette.
  • Understand emergency procedures thoroughly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
