The Thomas Jefferson Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ticketing Specialist to join its team at Monticello. As a key member of the Ticket Office, this individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing ticket sales, and providing expert knowledge of tours and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing registers, ensuring accurate sales and reconciliation
- Interacting with guests, providing excellent customer service, and making change for sales associates
- Supervising the Ticket Office under the direction of the Ticketing Team Lead
- Standing for several hours a day and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for working with people and providing exceptional customer service
- Experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality, with a strong ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in point-of-sale or ticketing computer software
- Strong verbal communication skills and mathematical proficiency
What We Offer:
A temporary 2-year full-time position with flexibility to work weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
