Job Summary:

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ticketing Specialist to join its team at Monticello. As a key member of the Ticket Office, this individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing ticket sales, and providing expert knowledge of tours and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing registers, ensuring accurate sales and reconciliation
  • Interacting with guests, providing excellent customer service, and making change for sales associates
  • Supervising the Ticket Office under the direction of the Ticketing Team Lead
  • Standing for several hours a day and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for working with people and providing exceptional customer service
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality, with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale or ticketing computer software
  • Strong verbal communication skills and mathematical proficiency
