Overview

Gulfstream Strategic Placements is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Management Associate to enhance our team in Los Angeles, CA. This position is ideal for a committed local professional with a consistent work background and expertise in managing commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring all project milestones are achieved within the specified timeline and budget.
  • Create and uphold comprehensive project timelines utilizing Gantt charts, ensuring optimal resource distribution and prompt project delivery.
  • Precisely estimate and oversee change orders, guaranteeing that all project adjustments are recorded, sanctioned, and incorporated into the overall project strategy.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with current clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are consistently met and surpassed throughout the project duration.
  • Utilize expertise in managing projects across diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, laboratories, educational facilities, data centers, healthcare institutions, hospitality venues, and entertainment arenas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in project management within the commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing sector.
  • Expertise in developing Gantt charts and project schedules, estimating change orders, and employing project management software.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
  • Proficient in Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Demonstrated stable work history with a solid local presence in Los Angeles, CA.
