The Clinical Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the leadership and clinical teams by ensuring that daily operational tasks, tracking, and data management are executed efficiently to meet client expectations and comply with regulatory standards. This position serves as a primary contact for patient inquiries and manages incoming communications, addressing any concerns or complaints.

This role requires full-time commitment, with flexibility to work within designated 8-hour shifts during standard business hours. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support management and clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of care in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders through effective telephone communication, coordinating with clinicians as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with Human Resource regulations as mandated by governing bodies.
  • Facilitate the placement of overflow cases to external agencies, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of client information through data entry into various systems.
  • Help ensure adherence to agency protocols and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to support the overall function of Home Health services.
  • Monitor and track special projects as directed by leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a home care agency or similar healthcare environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced setting managing multiple phone calls.
  • Ability to work flexible hours within the designated schedule, including occasional overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with home health regulatory requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., NetSmart or EPIC).
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in home care settings.
  • Ability to independently coordinate medical information.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is competitive and based on various factors including local labor markets, education, and experience.
