Position Overview

The Sales Associate role in Qatar involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Welcome customers and offer support to address their inquiries effectively.
  2. Maintain shop displays and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor in line with brand standards.
  3. Deliver outstanding customer service through up-selling and cross-selling techniques, while also following up on customer requests.
  4. For Multimedia products: Notify the Department Manager regarding any unavailable or underperforming items.
  5. For Multimedia products: Organize merchandise according to sales trends and recommendations from the Department Manager.
  6. For Multimedia products: Achieve sales targets through effective up-selling and cross-selling strategies.
  7. Facilitate the receiving process of shipments and ensure accurate inventory management to mitigate security risks.
  8. Handle cash transactions with precision and efficiency.
  9. For Fashion items: Take precise measurements for alterations and coordinate pricing as per established guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Competent in MS Office applications.
  • For Sports Goods retail: Demonstrated involvement in sports activities and relevant skills such as teamwork, initiative, and customer focus.
  • Planning and Organizing: Level 1 proficiency.
  • Self-Development: Level 2 proficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Level 2 proficiency.
  • Cultural Awareness: Level 1 proficiency.
