About the Job
This Staff Assistant role provides administrative support to departmental staff, handling complex and confidential tasks with ease. As a key member of the team, you will apply your knowledge and skills to resolve non-routine administrative problems independently or with others. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure seamless coordination of financial accounting, personnel, and other office functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Process out-of-pocket reimbursements for selected faculty & staff
- Serve as Concur initiator for assigned faculty & staff using discretionary or grant funds
- Coordinate with undergraduate students and faculty to expend annual Undergraduate Research Support awards
- Reconciliation of annual Mentorship awards provided to departmental advisors (faculty and graduate student) of undergraduate students

Requirements
Work requires a broad knowledge of clerical and accounting principles and practices normally acquired through two years of post-secondary education in administrative support or a related field. Three years of related secretarial/clerical experience is preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, we also provide a generous retirement plan and paid time off.
