We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will provide exceptional support to our Pediatric Hematology-Oncology department.

Job Summary

This role involves performing various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing clinic notes, and responding to patient inquiries. You will work closely with our clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and manage clinic schedules to ensure timely and accurate care delivery.
  • Process schedule change forms and update relevant systems to reflect changes.
  • Manage clinic notes and letters, ensuring prompt processing and routing to external referring physicians.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information to address concerns and issues.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical staff to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize patient flow.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • One year of experience in a clerical or general office support role.
