This role not only involves repair technician duties but also requires being an integral team member responsible for promoting and selling all products associated with the Batteries Plus Bulbs brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Sales Associate - Customer Service Duties:

  • Assist both retail and commercial customers in selecting batteries and light bulbs (training provided).
  • Replace batteries in various devices, including vehicles, watches, key fobs, and cell phones (training provided).
  • Ensure proper inventory management by stocking and organizing shelves.
  • Encourage add-on sales and upselling of products.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the store.

Technical Duties:

  • Repair cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices as required.
  • Receive, package, and ship devices.
  • Manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with 3-6+ months of experience in device repair or customer service preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple commitments effectively; prioritize tasks, follow up, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to inform, teach, and train.
  • Preferred: Good technical writing skills.

Working Conditions:

This position involves regular use of hands to handle electronic products and requires frequent use of computers and office equipment, as well as tools. The role may also involve lifting weights ranging from 20-40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, and more than 50 lbs infrequently.
