About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at WestRock. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
  • Business Development: Research and identify new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to pursue new customers and expand our market share.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed individual sales targets, tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to drive business growth.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or service industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to drive results through influence and negotiation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
