Code Inspection and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Code Compliance Specialist to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' buildings meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough building inspections to identify any code compliance issues and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting any areas of non-compliance and providing guidance on corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with changing building codes and regulations to ensure that our clients' buildings remain compliant and safe.
- Collaborate with our project management team to ensure that code compliance issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge in code compliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. architecture, engineering, construction management) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in code compliance inspection and enforcement, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Valid ICC certification (e.g. B2, M2, P2, E2) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
