Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Code Compliance Specialist to join our team at Engineering Consulting Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' construction projects meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform third-party building inspections to ensure compliance with state and local building codes.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement code compliance strategies to minimize project delays and costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that construction projects meet code requirements.
  • Mentor and train junior inspectors to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in code compliance inspection and/or plan review.
  • Valid ICC certification (B2, M2, P2, or E2).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
