About the Role

Abbott Laboratories, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Vascular division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share in the San Francisco/Bay Area, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives and deliver profitable growth/market share expectations.
  • Work closely with Clinical Specialists to identify and evaluate market opportunities, business potential, and achieve annual sales objectives in assigned territory.
  • Negotiate contracts with hospital customers and maintain relationships with key purchasing decision makers.
  • Stay up-to-date on market dynamics and competitive activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Director to develop and implement sales plans, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide product training and support to customers, including Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists.
  • Drive product utilization in key growth categories and support contracting efforts to gain favorable positions in accounts.
  • Meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience in the medical device industry.
  • Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred background includes prior experience selling in the medical device industry.
