The Nabo Group is Seeking a Junior Community Manager

Position Overview

The Nabo Group is actively searching for a motivated individual to manage a diverse range of communities, including condominiums and homeowner associations. We are looking for a capable Junior Community Manager who possesses experience in contract and financial oversight, collaboration with board members, homeowners, and service providers, as well as maintaining community budgets, conducting property evaluations, addressing and resolving issues, and soliciting bids for maintenance or renovation initiatives.

The Nabo Group specializes in property management services for homeowner associations and condominiums in the DC Metro Area and Maine. Our goal is to expand into new markets and double our unit portfolio in the near future. Property management is fundamental to our operations at The Nabo Group and will continue to be the foundation for achieving our objectives.

Role Responsibilities

The Junior Community Manager is essential in overseeing designated communities. This position requires effective communication with stakeholders, including homeowners, vendors, board members, and onsite personnel across various departments.

Key Competencies & Requirements

  • Oversee the administration and operation of the association.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Association Board of Directors and homeowners.
  • Prepare and deliver Board packages promptly.
  • Manage financial statements and annual budgets.
  • Supervise capital improvement projects and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements and community regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel and vendors to fulfill contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in HOA or condominium management.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • CMCA certification must be obtained within six months of employment. AMS certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
