Senior Financial Analyst

Pendo is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to become a vital member of the FP&A team. This position will involve close collaboration with the FP&A team and financial leadership to deliver comprehensive analyses for Pendo's business stakeholders, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting, and various ad hoc analyses.

The primary focus of this role will be to support the Marketing, People, and Legal departments by providing valuable insights for budgeting and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with budget stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of their business area and deliver analyses that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Serve as a financial authority in discussions with budget owners, providing insights for effective execution plans.
  • Create financial models, reports, and analyses to support critical business decisions.
  • Assist in preparing forecasts at various levels.
  • Track key performance indicators and analyze discrepancies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Deliver financial updates to senior management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Prior experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and presentation.
  • Familiarity with GAAP principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High standards of accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, with a driven and self-motivated approach.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Software Knowledge:

Proficiency in Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, Google Slides, Anaplan, and Workday.
