Position Overview:
Laboratory Service Inc is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our Revenue Cycle Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather, organize, and evaluate data from various systems to manage revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial activities.
2. Ensure that all assigned projects are reconciled with precision and thoroughness.
3. Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance standards and requirements.
4. Conduct financial analysis and research to support decision-making.
5. Adapt to evolving requirements and business needs, swiftly implementing necessary solutions.
6. Execute month-end closing procedures and journal entries according to the Corporate closing schedule.
7. Investigate and clarify significant variances from monthly trends.
8. Continuously review and enhance processes to strengthen controls, boost productivity, and minimize costs.
9. Support initiatives aimed at improving the RCM process.
10. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
11. Perform data entry tasks to assist with contract setup in the PeopleSoft financial system.
12. Complete additional projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Familiarity with contract revenue and ASC 606.
- Strong experience in general and project accounting.
- Excellent networking, teamwork, and relationship management skills.
- Solid business acumen with an understanding of the implications of financial decisions.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High comfort level in navigating and reconciling extensive data sets from multiple sources.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a matrixed, multi-site, multinational environment.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic setting.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
