Role Overview:

As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will oversee the overall maintenance and operational efficiency of the community, which includes managing schedules and the output of the service team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to resident service requests and coordinate workload with team members, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards by conducting regular property inspections and delegating repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure the daily maintenance of the grounds and property appearance meets company standards, including the security of all property-issued tools.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to enforce safety protocols and recommend training for maintenance staff.
  • Oversee the implementation and documentation of preventative maintenance programs, ensuring adherence to BH program guidelines.
  • Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs in various areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in maintenance and safety, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience in building maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for job functions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Must provide own industry-specific hand tools.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • HVAC certification or the ability to obtain it within the first six months is necessary.
  • E.P.A. Certification (Type II - domestic HVAC systems) is required.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or the ability to obtain it is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with potential for overtime and participation in an on-call rotation as needed.
