Position Overview

Diligent is looking for a talented, strategic analyst to join our Commercial FP&A organization. You will play a critical role in our global FP&A team, partner closely with our Executive team and Commercial leaders to drive robust financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis. This position will report into the Director of Commercial FP&A. This is an integral role within the global team responsible for helping to build a best-in-class organization related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, collaboratively built financial forecasts, annual plans, and operational analyses for the Commercial team.
  • Work directly with the Commercial Leadership Team to educate and support them in completing their strategic plans and budgets, driving real-time analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Actively participate in annual and monthly financial planning processes, ensuring planning aligns with overall company goals.
  • Drive strategic analysis in areas such as assessing GTM strategies, sales capacity modeling, commercial efficiency, and cost structure optimization/benchmarking.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, dashboards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Deliver timely and accurate executive-level reporting and insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including Diligent Executives, FP&A, Accounting, Sales Ops, HR, and Legal.
Required Experience/Skills
  • 4+ years of experience working in a senior financial and operations role in a complex organization.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling/MS Excel, and communication skills; in-depth experience with financial analysis and a strong understanding of GTM metrics.
  • Strong financial modeling experience and a willingness to dig into the details.
  • Advanced skill level in ERP financial systems.
  • Experience creating annual plans for a GTM organization from the ground up.
  • Proven ability to establish strategic, high-impact initiatives, defining performance indicators, and operational focus.
  • A high degree of intelligence, natural curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships and consensus among multiple stakeholders with varying points of view.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment.
