Role Overview:The Lead Financial Analyst – Strategic Planning will utilize a robust foundation in finance and accounting to analyze historical data and forecast future financial outcomes. This role is crucial for the financial planning and analysis of the organization and its affiliates. The Lead Financial Analyst will be tasked with projecting future revenues and expenditures to guide capital allocation for prospective initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Financial Analyst – Strategic Planning:- The Lead Financial Analyst will scrutinize both current and historical data, offering alternatives and recommendations aimed at cost reduction and enhancement of overall financial performance.
- Design and execute financial models; perform benchmarking and process evaluations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports to facilitate analytical forecasting.
- The Lead Financial Analyst will enhance efficiency by creating automated financial applications.
- Monitor and assess financial health by comparing actual results against forecasts.
- The Lead Financial Analyst will spearhead substantial process enhancements and policy development initiatives to improve overall departmental functionality.
- 3 – 7 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, particularly in forecasting and budgeting.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Extensive experience in financial modeling.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory.
