About Dawn AM Eatery

We are a dynamic restaurant team at Dawn AM Eatery, part of 14 Parish & Dawn AM Eatery, seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Assist the Kitchen Manager with product ordering, scheduling, payroll, and achieving Food, Expense & Labor targets.
  • Vendor Inspections: Inspect vendor deliveries to confirm accuracy, sign and file delivery invoices.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise BOH staff, oversee proper communication between all staff on the shift.
  • Culture and Environment: Uphold a fun, positive, and efficient environment for staff and our guests.
  • Budgeting and Training: Learn and understand how to properly use budgeting tools in Google Sheets to achieve restaurant goals and support training for new hires.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Monitor compliance with safety and be a leader for food quality and safety, preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and dietary requirements.
  • Menu Development: Assist with meal planning and menu development, ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Maintenance: Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Catering Events: Assist with catering events as required.
