Job Title: Ward 3 Community Outreach and Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Ward 3 Community Outreach and Relations Specialist. This role will play a critical part in building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, identifying and addressing community needs, and developing effective solutions to improve the quality of life for residents in Ward 3.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including residents, community groups, and local businesses.
  • Conduct community outreach and engagement activities to identify and address community needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve the quality of life for residents in Ward 3.
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a coordinated response to community needs.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to community groups and organizations.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the District of Columbia and its communities.
  • Experience in community outreach and engagement, with a focus on building relationships and identifying community needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Residency in Ward 3 or a strong connection to the community.
  • Experience working with community groups and organizations.
  • Knowledge of community development and planning principles.
