Role Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role within the operations team, functioning as a versatile resource capable of adapting to and managing a variety of tasks as required. Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

  • Facilitate onboarding, offboarding, and promotion processes.
  • Oversee all logistical components of employee training, including scheduling, communication, and participant enrollment.
  • Process updates related to employee information such as address changes, benefits modifications, and name changes.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and conducting reference and background checks.
  • Support performance management initiatives.
  • Lead recognition programs for performance and retention.
  • Contribute to mentoring, cohort, and firm contribution initiatives.

Facilities and Supplies Oversight:

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Manage and procure office and kitchen supplies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of conference and team room spaces.
  • Maintain day-to-day vendor relationships (supplies, kitchen items, copier/scanner, building maintenance, etc.).

Event Coordination and Executive Support:

  • Organize quarterly company meetings.
  • Assist in planning periodic company social events.

Information Technology Support:

  • Manage and maintain select areas of IT inventory and processes.
  • Coordinate with IT service vendors to address staff IT helpdesk tickets and general IT issues.

Customer Service:

  • Respond to phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to general information requests.

The successful Human Resources Coordinator will possess:

  • A BA/BS degree with a strong academic foundation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in office administration, HR, or operations support.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects with tight deadlines in a team setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share and synthesize information.
  • Proactive attitude and ownership of project work and professional growth.
  • Understanding of business concepts.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Interest in working with public sector clients, operations, HR, and recruiting.

Work Environment:

Censeo Consulting Group operates in a hybrid model, allowing staff to work remotely while regularly collaborating with the team in the office. Our office is strategically located in downtown D.C., providing convenient access to many of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually.
  • This role is a full-time in-office position with some flexibility for occasional remote work.
  • This is an exempt, full-time position.
