About Us:

Logistics Supervisor

Logistics Supervisors are critical thinkers who can swiftly and effectively resolve issues. They possess outstanding communication abilities and can manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. As a leader in the department, you will ensure that daily production targets are achieved and that standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of 10 to 15 associates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity.
  • Implement departmental floor plans, conduct start-of-shift meetings, and complete area readiness checklists.
  • Review daily attendance and allocate workforce efficiently to meet expected output.
  • Track and report departmental performance on an hourly basis to ensure successful area outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive end-of-shift reports and address any unmet production goals.
  • Monitor associate attendance, conduct behavior assessments, and provide immediate coaching in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and managers to identify obstacles and develop process enhancements.
  • Uphold and promote all OSHA regulations and safety initiatives to maintain a secure work environment for all associates.
  • Act as a resource on the floor, providing on-the-job training for new hires and assisting across all departments as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy work area and ensure that 5S standards are consistently upheld.
  • Emphasize and instill the significance of quality within your assigned department. Conduct audits to monitor SOP compliance and document findings.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with the management team.
  • Understand and be able to learn industry-specific technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position is required.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer usage.
  • Analytical mindset; capable of quickly and effectively solving problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and MS Excel.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, bend, and move products weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible; willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
