Position Overview:

As a Shipping Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all facets of shipping operations, ensuring compliance with both domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Coordinating with various departments to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity within the shipping division.
  • Monitoring shipping expenses, timelines, and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Resolving any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintaining precise records of all shipping activities, including tracking information, costs, and delivery schedules.
  • Training, supervising, and evaluating shipping personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Staying informed on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to shipping and logistics.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Shipping Supervisor role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or freight, preferably within the food and beverage sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, showcasing strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to address shipping-related challenges effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple shipping operations simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in utilizing shipping software and other relevant IT systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
