Job Overview

The Logistics Material Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient management of materials within the organization. Reporting to the Logistics & Materials Supervisor, this position is integral to fostering a collaborative work environment while upholding exceptional customer service standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate under limited supervision to ensure smooth material handling processes.
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to maintain clear operational workflows.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Retrieve parts according to pick tickets, ensuring correct lot identification.
  • Package kits for distribution, verifying that all quantities are accurate.
  • Ensure that all relevant cure date information is included on the Pick List.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to parts management in the system.
  • Receive incoming products into the stockroom efficiently.
  • Assist personnel through the designated service window.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management role is essential.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and all applicants must qualify as U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the aerospace sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

This position operates on a 1st Shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required on a voluntary basis, with potential for mandatory overtime if necessary.
