Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Human Resources Specialist to join our team at The Transportation Security Administration. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the American way of life by securing transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on human resources disciplines, including worker's compensation, employee relations, position classification, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies to support the organization's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and policies related to HR practices.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of HR staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in human resources, with a minimum of one year of specialized experience at the SV-H or GS-12 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
