Job Title: Executive Team Lead - Luxury Retail

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Team Lead to join our team at Bloomingdale's in New York City. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business results and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills, business acumen, and customer service orientation.
  • Develop and execute multifaceted retail strategies that support and drive business outcomes.
  • Analyze data and identify key business opportunities, collaborating with trade area leadership and central merchants to capitalize on trends, vendors, classifications, and events.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric store culture, advocating for improvements to support the in-store customer experience.
  • Actively model outstanding customer care, participating in and leading the execution of top customer strategies.
  • Execute merchant strategies with advocacy and localization for the store customer.
  • Develop collaborative and results-producing relationships with store, trade area, and central business partners.
  • Set clear expectations for leadership behavior and accountability for results, empowering others to make decisions.
  • Lead by example as an active coach, providing ongoing feedback and guidance, and developing a strong bench of managers for future leadership positions.
  • Effectively communicate priorities and business-driving information to ensure leadership alignment and equipment to maximize opportunities.
  • Require and champion use of selling technology to support a seamless customer experience, ensuring the team optimizes tool and process usage.
  • Drive store associate engagement by building teams committed to a diverse and inclusive environment, supporting a culture of learning and development, and providing consistent and feedback that drives employee engagement and retention.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Marketing leadership to engage and develop Top-Of-The-List and Luxe clients, a key business-driving opportunity.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years direct experience in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
  • Above-average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and work with mathematical concepts like probability and statistical inference.
  • Strong critical thinking and strategic mindset, with proven ability to devise and execute retail strategies that support business outcomes.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs, with regular attendance and punctuality.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000-$160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
