About the Role:
The New York State Executive Chamber seeks a seasoned Executive Event Manager - Strategic Engagement Lead to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to drive the success of high-stakes events and contribute to shaping the Governor's public perception.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Event Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies, aligning with the Governor's policy goals and messaging objectives.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Oversee vendor management, ensuring seamless execution of logistics, communications, and production requirements.
- Project Management:
- Lead project management for the Governor's participation at external events, ensuring timely delivery of communications, speechwriting, and policy teams' deliverables.
- Staff Management:
- Direct and manage on-site staff, contractors, and vendors to guarantee event execution meets the Executive Chamber's standards.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in government, politics, or campaigns.
- Proven track record in event management, logistics coordination, and on-the-ground execution in high-pressure environments.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to prioritize and troubleshoot in real-time.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
